One of my goals is to reintroduce soulfulness into leather working. Beyond the unmistakable kiss of the handmade there is a frontier full of the tactile and tender, a land where material holds memory and has been imposed on by time.
Beside me leather softens in water until it sighs open, ready to hold impressions. My studio is a place where small rituals grow and I'd love to offer one: bend down. Gather up what the forest has forgotten: handfuls of fallen sticks, sun warmed stones, or pinecones, each picked up by instinct.
The world already knows how to hold wonder and I'm honored to add to that hum.
